Finals have pretty much finished! I have one more small paper to write this week, and then the semester will have officially concluded.
Which means Dirk gets to start up again!

I'm pretty excited for the next page of Dirk, because we get to meet a new character, and that's always cool :)
Also, I'm still not happy with this website design... I'll probably address it this week too.

Two pages will be added tomorrow...
Possibly IN COLOR!!

*dun dun dunnnnnnnnnn*

Updating was a little weak there for a while... But last week concluded my time at the grocery store, so I'm a free soul again (minus the two jobs at school and classes)!

I'm pretty excited to get back to Dirk! I think Wednesdays will work (officially) for updating. I used to work Tuesday nights, but now I'm free, so it's all good! By the way, for anyone who visits often...

_ Tuesdays just seemed to fit Dirk for some reason...

However, I have discovered this week that Tuesdays are going to be virtually impossible for me to post on. I am literally at school for nearly 12 hours on Mondays, and I work on Tuesdays. So. Tuesday updates are pretty much not an option.

What does this mean?

IT MEANS WEDNESDAY UPDATES FOR DIRK FROM NOW ON!!!

In other newz...

-I now have 2 awesome jobs, and 1 lame one, but I'm preparing to “give notice” at the lame one.

-I really like using gridded paper for comic page layouts.

-My teacher and I were discussing a project that I'll have later this semester, and she actually suggested I do it in comic form. I'm THRILLED.

-Dirk. Cannot. Be. Serious. He just can't. I tried to make the next page (updating tonight) serious and...

the man cannot do it!!

I have had a links page for a while, and I've added some of my favorite comics there...
If you have an online comic that you would like me to add, let me know! All I ask is that you promote Dirk Gable on your site.
(I can make a banner to use, if you don't have one made!)

Phooey. There's no comic update today. But if you look around a bit, you may or may not notice the color changes. I like the very classic black and white look, but I felt that Dirk could possibly use a hint of... teal. Yes.

We (er, I) will be back on track Tuesday, I hope. Mondays are spent 100% at school, so it's a little tricky to draw then. Which means drawing a little further ahead in advance. Which requires a severe lack of procrastination

It looks like Dirk is off to a surprisingly existent start. I had never expected to do more than 1 or 2 pages of Dirk, much less 7 (8 counting the chapter's title page). Wow.

I'm pretty much in the dark when it comes to Dirk's future, like the rest of you. I don't really know who Cheyenne is, and I don't have a very clear idea of what Dirk does for a living. This is a fun, scary way to do a comic... It's like writing a story with a blindfold on your mind. So really, I'm just as curious as all of you.
I just get to see the pages first.
